SVC2UK: Good Growth Summit

Connecting and inspiring women leaders

We partnered with SVC2UK to run the Good Growth Summit, which was an invitation-only event designed to connect and inspire women founders and business leaders from the US and UK. Over the course of an action-packed morning, we aimed to provide inspiration and guidance in equal measure, for women scaling their businesses.

The event blended a combination of keynote speakers – including Google.org’s Jacquelline Fuller and the Malala Fund’s Shiza Shahid – with carefully choreographed roundtable sessions to provide both top level inspiration and real, practical help. Roundtable topics ranged from accessing funding to effective boards, allowing for a deep dive into the issues in an intimate group.

We’ve supported and worked with SVC2UK since 2012 in various incarnations from managing the entire London series of events to providing content and event management support at CEO Summits.  Partnering on The Good Growth Summit was a cause dear to our hearts and we loved massaging it into life.

Proud moments

  • Bringing the ecosystem of organisations supporting female founders together – demonstrating the power of the London network.

  • Creating the Moments of Truth session. We challenged a panel of leading entrepreneurs to share make or break moments that really tested them – you could hear a pin drop.

  • The hashtag #SVC2UK17 was trending globally on Twitter throughout the morning.

  • Welcoming our youngest ever participant and keeping her actively engaged throughout the day. You might spot her in the pics below…

Praise

“I just wanted to drop you a line to say a huge thank you for all you did to make Friday's event such a huge success.  You have been absolutely brilliant to work with on this project and I truly value your creativity, your professionalism and your calmness throughout.  The moments of truth panel was created from an idea we had initially to invite entrepreneurs to talk about risk but the way you curated the questions and briefed the speakers gave it such impact and really resonated with our audience. Fabulous job”. – Janet Coyle, Director, SVC2UK

“Being in a room with so many female entrepreneurs at the Good Growth Summit, I realised how good it felt; and then I realised that that's how men feel much of the time in business, and yet women so rarely do”. – Tessa Cook, OLIO
